Description
Digital vertical micrometer is a Schut precision micrometer (ECONOMY LINE).
Accuracy ±0.002 mm. Absolute encoder digital readout, 0.001 mm resolution — no zero loss upon battery replacement; mm/inch toggle, on/off, zero reset. Hardened, ground spindle and anvil; thermally insulated frame for thermal stability during handheld measurement.
Usage: Open the spindle, place the workpiece between the spindle and anvil, and close the spindle using the ratchet stop (even contact force). Read the dimension from the main scale plus thimble or from the LCD/display. Verify zero against the Schut setting standard at appropriate intervals.
Common applications: Machined part dimension acceptance, fitter and toolmaker bench measurement, in-line QC, and incoming inspection within the specified measuring range.
